Dan Samuels is a character in the television series Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency.
Biography[]
Dan Samuels worked as the manager at the Bergsberg quarry in Bergsberg, Montana, presumably for the Kellum Mining Corporation. Suzie Boreton was his employee.
He had some form of dealings with the Mage and the Cavatos.[1]
One day Dan admonished Suzie Boreton to get some paperwork done and confiscated the phone she had been playing with, which belonged to her son. Later that day the Mage came by the office to speak with him. Dan refused to continue working with the Mage and told him so. The Mage then killed Dan by repeatedly stabbing him with a pencil.[1]
Dan's corpse was deposited into the trunk of a car in front of the quarry office by the Cavatos members. There it remained for two days, until the Mage destroyed with a Vensas spell.[2]
