Jake happened to come across [[Bart Curlish]] and [[Ken]], who's car had broken down. Jake inspects the cars' engine, and tells Ken that it's the carburetor that caused the car to come to a stop. Jake says that he can fix it, but it's going to take some time, to which Ken thanks him. Ken then quietly asks if it's possible that Jake could call him a cab, Ken's motive that he wanted to get as far away from Bart as he could before more people were killed. Jake replies that it's lucky he even found them, as the road is empty and goes on to say that plenty of people die out there.

Jake is a character in the television series Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency.

He was a member of the criminal biker gang New Children of the Old God.
